it ain't pretty but it's history...sort of
As a television professional and being well familiar with the area where this took place I was thrilled to find this. Lanesville TV/VideoFreex were a sort of hippie (for lack of a better word) commune which spawned the first localized/public access/"pirate" televsion station. Yes it is a very low budget spoof, yes the acting is bad, But this was guerilla broadcasting to I think about 100 households in the early 1970s when videtape was 3/4" wide on reels. It's amazing. If you can find the book "VideoFreex" by Parry Teasdale it tells the amusing, amazing story. Thank you to whoever contributed this.

Bad, Even for the time!
This looks like it was made in the 70's in some new England town were the 60's were just now catching on. The UFO effect is so bad, even for 70's technology. The acting is even worse.
This may have sounded like a good idea when the film maker was stoned but it did not work when he wasn't, if he wasn't.
Thumbs up for the interviewers hat and the abundant use of the word "freak".
